We found her full of water in west Wales on Shell Island I am going to bring her back to life and beyond, so far I have worked on the saloon all now oak pine and beech with all new ribs and new bulk heads will send new photos soon, hopefully I will have all the saloon done for next year, so I can take the engine out, the engine is new 1750cc diesel out of a pergo 405 only 25 miles on the clock I need to marinise and put intercooler on the turbo and chip the diesel pump this will give her about 112 HP hopefully this will be enough to get her back on the plane if not I will fit a 2 litre pinto 205 block and I can get well over 220 HP same as they put in brisca F2 stock cars, now that would be something to see a 1972 Norman 23 on the plane out at sea, you see we did not buy a canal boat we bought a speed boat and from the info I got from your web site Norman never built a canal boat ;-)

The drive is a Enfield Z drive which is seized was replaced 4 years ago do not know how old it was then and that's all I know well besides spraying with diesel, so if one of your group wants to come to Wales and rebuild it you are most welcome, all info on Enfield Z drive would be most appreciated, also looking for full galley hob, grill, oven,sink, drainer, fridge, so far I am going to buy new this will take all the rest of the budget which we are making up as we go along
